Gladys and Abner: We are big fans of The Bay Cafe. Perfect for breakfast. Everything you want in a good diner combined with a terrific view.
CitySearch.com: “This place has a great view and is much less expensive than Chinook’s next door. The service is great and it feels like a diner inside. Great service. Great breakfast! Great view! Never a wait.”

Feels like a slightly run down diner, and staff has trouble with orders slightly different than what’s in the menu (different cheese, etc). Also, cheap powder used for the hot chocolate. The seafood scrambles/omelettes are excellent, though there can be quite a wait to get in for breakfast.

A great place for Sunday breakfast. Always busy, but the eggs benedict are wonderful.

My husband and I love The BC as we like to call it. It’s one of my favorite things about living Magnolia. Service is always great–fast and friendly. We usually go later on Sundays–after 12:30–and often do not have to wait. I think if you go between 10:30 and 12:30, you can expect a wait.

I love the Bay Cafe….the service is always first rate and the food is just as good. I always get my boring bacon & eggs, but its always a 5 star serving…and their hash browns are consistently brown and crisp…not undercooked lumps of SYSCO potato process lumps. To me, there is no place I’d rather be than eating my breakfast , looking at the fishing boats and also having my morning paper…..”More coffee sir? They are all the best.

Love this Place, been there half a dozen times for breakfast on the weekends. It’s well priced and excellent food. The hashbrowns have always been perfect. My breakfast mainstay in the neighborhood.
