Over-priced and very limited food menu. Great wine select, though.

If you can tear the woman in the glasses away from talking to her friends to acknowledge you walking in you may get served; good luck! The wine is marginal at best and the food is not worth a comment. Sad, but we had high hopes for this cozy place.

Solid and ever-changing wine selection with knowledgeable sommelier. The chocolate lava cake paired with sweet-cream gelato is scrumptious.

I’m not much of a wine drinker so I decided to have dessert instead. The lava cake was devine! Loved it but should have planned to share it since it was a generous serving for such a rich and delicious dessert.

It seems like Swirl Wine Bar is being unfairly judged. They are not a full scale restaurant so to mention that their menu is limited is unkind. Wine Bars typically serve great wines along with complimentary small plates. It was a bit of a stretch to think that Magnolia Village was ready for a wine bar. Wine bars typically belong within a city and Magnolia is really just chugging along as a tiny little train that can’t.

I am thrilled to have Swirl and love the popcorn and cheese plate. Magnolia needed a place other than Szmanias or the pub to get a decent glass of wine. Skip the food and just have drinks. I think they have made the most of the space. My experience with service has been good so I am surprised at the negative reviews on this.

Swirl Wine Bar is great spot for sipping a variety of generously poured glasses of wine and having a light bite to eat. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is cozy.

This place is great Annie and her husband are as nice as can be. Chris is super friendly and helpful in selecting wine. They work hard at this small business and do a fantastic job!

We were eager to stop by Swirl at 11 pm Saturday night. They were closed even though the sign said they are open til midnight. Guess it just depends on who’s there and how tired they are? Too bad

Swirl Wine Bar adds sparkle and charm to Magnolia Village. An excellent wine selection that includes something to please every vino lover, and helpful and friendly service. It's the perfect place to go for a glass (or 2) of wine and create-your-own cheese plate.

Enjoy this local wine bar, adds something to Magnolia that was missing. Always a fun crowd and comfortable…easy to go there alone. The wine selection is solid and changing to keep things fresh and lately they are adding some great seasonal food specials…give them a try. Yummy!

Overpriced and disappointing. We ordered a couple of small plates to go with our wine. We were served a thin slice of meat on a large roll with a bit of lettuce. They should just serve bread and skip the meat. A couple of glasses of wine and a couple of small plates for three people cost $80.

We've been in Magnolia for almost 17 years, and I can't tell you how many times, coming home from the theater, dinner, or another evening event, we bemoaned the fact that we didn't have anywhere in the Village for a late night glass of wine, or a cocktail. Sorry, but Gim Wah doesn't work for us, and Szmania seems to want to close early. Swirl has filled a badly needed niche in our community, as evidenced by the crowds still lingering over a glass of wine at 10 PM most nights. Great selection of wines, good prices, terrific staff, and some nice nibbles if your a little peckish.
