The Highliner Pub at Fisherman’s Terminal (Tavern)
3909 18th Ave W
Seattle, WA 98119
Fond memories of this place, Orville Johnson and Scott Law almost every week. Oh the good old days.
Charlie i miss thoes days also and remember it is now Scott Law.
I have tried on numerous occasions to go in and have a burger and a beer…but the lack of servers present tip me off that either they don’t hire enough staff, or that they’re all on a break. But the big reason is that there are way too many flies buzzing around the kitchen and the dining room…..that is way too creepy for me.
According to http://www.decadeonline.com/main.phtml?agency=skc, at last surprise health inspection this restaurant got 7 points, with 1 high risk violation.
The place has really gone downhill from years ago. Service was mediocre at best. We had cheese stix and fried mushrooms – only appetizers between lunch & dinner. Both were burned, obviously – and still served to us. I wouldn't go back again.
This place is horrid.
The latest inspection was 2/1/2010. They had 13 points, including 1 high-risk violation: http://www.decadeonline.com/insp.phtml?agency=s…
There is apparently a bundle to know about this. I believe you made certain nice points in features also.

All of these countries also offer dive adventure vacations where you can skin dive onto pristine reefs and underwater caves.
Is there a re-opening date yet?
It has reopened people!
Great place. New owners. Completely remodeled with a fantastic menu. Not just the standard burgers you usually see in a pub but great seafood also. 15 or so beers on tap plus great wine. A good selection of bottled beer also. I had the salmon burger and it rocked. My friend had the chowder and a salad. Both were great. Great atmosphere, lots of tvs for sports. I will be back
The place has been completely reinvented. It’s clean and bright, the beer selection is extensive and the food is excellent. I had the grilled salmon and chips, with a salad substituted for the chips, and the husband had a pulled pork sandwich. Very good, and the service was good as well.
If I had any complaints at all, it would be that since they took the fabric hangings down, it’s very loud in the room. It IS a metal box, after all. Perhaps a bit of sound deadening and this place will absolutely rock. We’ll be going back.
The revamped Highliner is a delightful surprise. Better than pub food, excellent wings, halibut, and crab cakes. Great chefs, lots of flat screen TVs, and a super bartender, Alan – knows his beers and ball teams. Give it a try!
