I have tried on numerous occasions to go in and have a burger and a beer…but the lack of servers present tip me off that either they don’t hire enough staff, or that they’re all on a break. But the big reason is that there are way too many flies buzzing around the kitchen and the dining room…..that is way too creepy for me.
The place has really gone downhill from years ago. Service was mediocre at best. We had cheese stix and fried mushrooms – only appetizers between lunch & dinner. Both were burned, obviously – and still served to us. I wouldn't go back again.

This is my third visit to this blog. We are starting a new initiative in the same niche as this blog. Your blog provided us with important information to work with. You have done a fantastic job. All of these countries also offer dive adventure vacations where you can skin dive onto pristine reefs and underwater caves.

Great place. New owners. Completely remodeled with a fantastic menu. Not just the standard burgers you usually see in a pub but great seafood also. 15 or so beers on tap plus great wine. A good selection of bottled beer also. I had the salmon burger and it rocked. My friend had the chowder and a salad. Both were great. Great atmosphere, lots of tvs for sports. I will be back

The place has been completely reinvented. It’s clean and bright, the beer selection is extensive and the food is excellent. I had the grilled salmon and chips, with a salad substituted for the chips, and the husband had a pulled pork sandwich. Very good, and the service was good as well.
If I had any complaints at all, it would be that since they took the fabric hangings down, it’s very loud in the room. It IS a metal box, after all. Perhaps a bit of sound deadening and this place will absolutely rock. We’ll be going back.

The revamped Highliner is a delightful surprise. Better than pub food, excellent wings, halibut, and crab cakes. Great chefs, lots of flat screen TVs, and a super bartender, Alan – knows his beers and ball teams. Give it a try!
