The snow is melting and now the concerns turn to flooding. You might want to take a tip from Darren who is shoveling his deck and get the snow off your flat roof before it is saturated with rain. Also, make sure to check your downspouts and drains so all this moisture has somewhere to go.
The Seattle Times reports that this melt off is not expected to be as bad as the storm in 1996 when heavy rains followed a big snowstorm and many buildings collapsed.
