February 13th, 2009 · 5 Comments

This weekend will be the first chance for people to get a look inside new townhomes in The Village.

The public is invited to the grand opening on Saturday and Sunday (2/14 and 2/15) from 12p.m. to 5p.m.

The Open House will provide an opportunity to tour the model unit which is fully decorated.  The event will also feature a free bbq for everyone who attends.

There are 14 townhomes available for sale in the development called Carleton Park located across the street from Bartells.

The homes range in size from 2,500 to 3,000 square feet.  They are priced from $1,165,000 to $1,495,000/

The homes have high end finishes and each includes a private elevator.  There is a den/office space on the entry level, a main floor with kitchen and living room, guest room, bath and bonus room on the mid level and a top level master suite.

As an incentive to buyers, the first four people to purchase a townhome will receive a $25,000 upgrade package that includes an audio/video system, custom blinds and a lighting automation system.

They sure look fancy on the inside. Too bad the outside architecture looks like “Penitentiary Modern”………Just need some barbed wire and spotlights to finish it off! :)

You would think that for the price tag the $25k “upgrade” would come standard.

They do look like they are nice inside. But for that kind of cash I would like a view of something other than Bartells or the Barber shop.

One of the Agents, Greg, told me that there were almost six hundred people attending the open house on Saturday. Tremendous response.
Didn’t get to try the elevators. Too many people.
