These are challenging times for public schools and we want to let you know about a fundraiser that will benefit area schools.  Successful Schools in Action is holding its third annual breakfast fundraiser on Wednesday, March 25 at 8a.m. at the Golden Gardens Boathouse.   

The group is raising funds to support tutoring, debate and work experience at the seven partner schools that include Blaine and Lawton in Magnolia.  The breakfast is free.

The group will celebrate five years of community-based programs for the students in the seven neighborhood public schools it supports.  The keynote speaker for the breakfast is Patrick D’Amelio, Executive Director for Alliance for Education.  For more information: lisamoore@schoolsinaction.org  or call 206-378-0797.
