Signs of life in Whole Foods complex

April 14th, 2009 · View Comments

One business is now open in the Whole Foods complex on 15th Ave West and more are on the way.

Subway opened recently and workers there say business is actually pretty good despite the fact anchor tenant Whole Foods won’t open until at least the end of the year.

Peet’s Coffee and Tea and a dry cleaner are also set to open in the complex soon.

Wow, just what this area needs: another Subway and a coffee shop.

Yay, we can drive to that one instead of the closer one now!

I’m wondering what’s going into the other empty shops along there – are they under contract or still for lease? Personally, I’m hoping for a new curry house (mmm, chicken tikka masala…), especially if it delivers. Oh, and maybe a Chipotle. Yum.

Oh god, please let it be good Chinese food without MSG! I’d keep them on speed dial.

Come ON! Get a T-Mobil and a Verizon shop in there right away!

No way…they need an Outback Steak House for all of the lard a** cruise ship passengers disembarking at Pier 61.

I actually love subway, and non-starbucks coffee shops.

Wow Heidi. That wasn’t very nice.
