It has only been a few weeks since the Port of Seattle opened the cruise ship terminal at Smith Cove but we are already hearing complaints from Magnolia residents. People are concerned about the noise from the ships that are generally using the terminal Thursday through Sunday through mid October.
The main complaints concern the loud music and announcements coming from the cruise ships. There have also been concerns about the lights on the ships and the traffic from passengers arriving and departing.
The Port has set up a hotline for people who have concerns or questions about the ships at 206-728-3337.
