June 23rd, 2009 · 3 Comments

On July 12th you can have fun while helping Heron Habitat Helpers. They are meeting on Sunday, July 12th from 4 to 6 PM for a light supper while writing invitations to an upcoming event. They will be gathering at a beach home overlooking Salmon Bay so they can watch the birds and the boats while eating, having fun and writing invitations.

If you would like to help, call (206) 282-3429 by July 9th to RSVP.

Heron Habitat Helpers is working to restore and protect Kiwanis Memorial Preserve Park, Natural Area and Wildlife Corridor. This area known as Kiwanis Ravine, is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including the largest active Great Blue Heron colony in Seattle.
