Equipment stolen from car

July 1st, 2009 · Comments

We got this email from a family who suffered a big loss in a car break in earlier this week:

My family and I have lived in Magnolia for the past 5 years, behind the the Our Lady of Fatima Church parking lot.  Between Sunday morning 3AM and Tuesday morning 8AM someone stole my husband’s DJ equipment.  Normally, I would never complain, but this is his business and he is unable to work if he does not get this equipment back.  Can you post something on your website to see if there is anybody that has ANY information to help our family?   Thank you very much.

Here is what was lost in the break in:
TECHNICS MK 1200 TURNTABLES
1 PIONEER DJM-600 DJ MIXER
1 SERATO SL-1 INTERFACE BOX
1 ODESSEY DJ COFFIN
1 FURMAN SURGE BLOCK POWER STRIP
2 SLIPMATS
ASSORTED CORDS & POWER SUPPLY CABLE   and 2-12 CAR SPEAKERS & SPEAKER BOX

If you have any information or see any of this equipment somewhere, please contact Dave at 206-661-1625.

I just wonder why anyone would leave such valuable equipment in their car overnight?

Wow. Magnolia Peeps you really are stupid. You want me to get some compassion? How about you get a brain. What do you think insurance is for? IF someone stole my car, equipment, etc. I WOULD file a claim. How rude? How about how stupid!

peeps. it's another one of the reasons people get insurance. duh!

What's wrong with an insurance claim? 98% chance the equipment will not be returned, it is long gone. It is at least worth checking if this is something that would be covered under automobile or homeowners policy regarding their personal property. There is nothing wrong with someone telling them to check into it.

Insurance claim what? If someone stole your equipemt, car, etc. and you paid insurance you'd do what? Sit there? How rude! It's not their fault - grow some compassion.
