This is a great week to visit the Magnolia Farmer’s Market. The floodgates for local crops opened wide this week and you can expect to see market tables groaning under the weight of the harvest.
New this week look for the first of the season peaches including Organic Sugartime and Snowkist peaches from Tiny’s Organic, first of season organic blueberries, Rival, Goldbar and Tomcots apricots, Tulameen and Cascade Dawn raspberries, black raspberries from Homestead Organic, Bing, Rainier, Sonata, Sander Rose and Chelan cherries and end of the season strawberries.
Also look for the first of the season new potatoes including Yukon Golds, Cal White, All Blue, Red Norland and Desiree from Olsen Farms, Romanesco Broccoli and fresh local lavender.
