The Bayview playground renovation is almost complete.  The park at 2614 24th Ave. W is one of five playground renovation projects in Seattle funded by the 2008 Parks and Green Spaces Levy. The schedule was accelerated to complete the park as part of the Seattle Jobs Forward package.  This project replaced the play equipment, and brought the site up to standards. 

A meeting was held last spring to gather input from residents and the parks department tells us that neighbors are happy with the changes.  Now that the play structure is installed they will complete a final safety inspection and hope to take down the fence and open the park to the public in about a week or so.
