Magnolia Voice reader Charles just wrote in the forum about a dog on the loose.
On my way home this evening around 530 or 6 I saw a small, yellowish/blonde dog, long with a long-haired, kind of fluffy tail walking north on 24th Ave. West and West Emerson St in Interbay/Fort Lawton. Just now, around 8 pm, I saw the same dog heading south on 25th ave West, but when it saw me with my dog, it turned and walked back the other way. I was able to keep in view until he got to the corner of West Thurman Street and 24th Ave. West and then lost him. It looks healthy and like he just recently got out. From my vantage point, I could not see a collar. I imagine it is exploring or staying in Lawton Park. If this is your dog, come look around that area. I could not get near it to see any collar or get it to come to me.

I saw a sign for a missing dog on the corner of Emerson and Gilman. The dog is little, tan and old. Looks like Toto….call Lynne @ 928-533-8833
Good Luck!

Did the dog have a shorter, squared-off snout and a long tail that kind of curled up? If so, it may be the dog that lives by Lawton School, whose owners just open their door and let him run free…
