Plant a tree in Discovery Park

Discovery Park is looking for volunteers this Saturday, January 30 from 1:00 – 4:00p.m. to plant trees and heal habitats.   Discovery Park will provide plants, tools, gloves and guides – you are asked to bring the energy and enthusiasm.  Pre-registration is encouraged at   www.seattle.gov/parks  or (206) 386 – 4250.  Meet at the Discovery Park Visitor Center at 1:00pm.

    I heard about the tree-planting that took place at Discovery Park through Magnolia Voice, so thank you for posting the information. This was my first time participating and I had a great time. Spending three hours outdoors planting trees is a wonderful way to forget about the stresses of life.
