Could be tricky going in and out of Magnolia in the next few days. Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) crews will make repairs on the Magnolia and Ballard bridges this week and next week. On the Magnolia Bridge, today (1/28) and tomorrow (1/29) and February 1-3, from 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. each day, the work crew will close one lane at a time in order to make expansion joint repairs. During the work, there will be one lane open to traffic in each direction.
During that same timeframe, the southbound right lane of the Ballard Bridge will be closed in order to make guard rail repairs. SDOT says the schedule is subject to change in the event that other unplanned, urgent needs arise.
