Be entertained by kindergarten Munchkins, third to fifth grade flying monkeys, an evil witch, a good witch and all of the beloved characters, including Toto, in the school production of this well loved classic.
On Friday, March 19 doors will open at 5:30 at Lawton Elementary for the production of Wizard of Oz. The cast and crew is made up of students in kindergarten through fifth grade from the Lawton Elementary School Drama program, along with middle school students from Hamilton, Washington, Whitman, and TOPS, and students from Ingraham High School. The play is directed by Tracy McDonagh, a kindergarten teacher at Lawton Elementary, and head of Lawton’s after school drama program.
Admission is free, and donations are encouraged to support the Lawton Drama program. There will also be a Wizard of Oz themed bake sale at intermission. If you need more information, contact
