Wizard of Oz on stage Friday

The actors have been working hard and would love to see you in the audience on Friday (3/19) when the curtain goes up at the Lawton Elementary production of Wizard of Oz. Doors open at 5:30pm.

The cast and crew is made up of students in kindergarten through fifth grade from the Lawton drama program, along with middle school students from Hamilton, Washington, Whitman, and TOPS, and students from Ingraham High School. The play is directed by Tracy McDonagh, a kindergarten teacher at Lawton Elementary, and head of Lawton’s after school drama program.

Admission is free and donations are encouraged to support the Lawton drama program. There will also be a Wizard of Oz themed bake sale at intermission. If you need more information, contact

Took my 2 yr old daughter to this last night. She loved it! She is still talking about Dorothy and Tin Man. Thanks so much to Lawton school for putting this on. All the kids did an Amazing job. Kudos to Ms McDonagh too!
