Interbay Golf Center driving range has reopened nine days earlier than expected following a five-week, $1million renovation according to golfwashington.com.
The improvements include two new ball dispensers, new artificial turf for the range and fresh paint for the clubhouse and net poles. Course management says the recent good weather allowed them to get the work done without any delays and open earlier than expected. Funding for the enhancements came from golf revenues. In addition, the price of a round of golf at Interbay is going up just a bit starting April 1, from $13 to $14 on weekdays and from $15 to $16 on weekends. Current range hours are 7am to 10pm.
