La Mondellina closed; new pizzeria coming

The Magnolia Village will soon have a new restaurant. La Mondellina on McGraw street is now closed and will soon reopen as a Neapolitan style pizzeria.

The new restaurant will serve wood fired pizza and will be open for dinners. They are doing the remodeling now and will change their current space to include about ten tables and a long bar for sit down dining.

They say that the thin crust pizza will feature fresh, homemade ingredients and there will be salads on the menu too. They also promise a large selection of beer and wine. They will offer pizza to go but no delivery.

La Mondellina opened about a year ago as an Italian Family Kitchen. They hope to open the pizzeria in about a month or so. We will keep you posted.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
