When the holidays come around, do you decorate your home so much that even the homeowners association in Candyland would grant it unanimous approval? I hosted an out-of-town visitor this past weekend and drove through Magnolia neighborhood to see the lights. Egad – what a dearth of decorated houses! To top it off, most of the decorated houses had only white lights on the outside — which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but too many made it all look “cheap”. There was a nice effort on 21st W, south of Dravus where the neighbors weren’t afraid of colored lights. Not worth a special trip, but check’em out if you go to Mulleady’s Pub.
