Local theatre troupe debuts original ‘Spirited’ work this weekend

February 8th, 2013 · No Comments

Magnolia’s own Lights On! Productions presents Spirited this weekend. The theatre group began as a Lawton Elementary School drama club. This year, they’ve split off as their own ensemble. They have been working hard for months, doing everything from fundraising to play writing and directing to acting, and all the hard work culminates this weekend (tonight and tomorrow). Lights! participant Lila describes the show:

Spirited is a comedy (with serious bits) about Melanie Stone, a teenager who is totally normal except for the small fact that she sees ghosts.

Tickets are $5 for adults and free for students, with proceeds going towards future Lights On! shows. For more information, click here.
February 8th & 9th @ 7 pm
Theater 4, Center House (Seattle Center)
