Do you have  kids aged 7-10 that would like to learn how to play tennis this summer? If the answer is yes, Magnolia Community Center is offering a program called Quick Start Tennis:

Playing on smaller courts, using smaller rackets, low pressure and foam balls, kids learn tennis through FUN games and EXCITING drills. This program is designed for beginners with no to little playing experience. The 8 week program runs from June 24th through August 14th. Practices are Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-7pm for 7-8 year olds and 7-8pm for 9-10 year olds at Magnolia Playfields. The kids also get to participate in matches against other sites beginning in late July. The program costs $35 and includes equipment.

Sign up in person at Magnolia Community Center (click here for hours) or call (206)386-4235.  Another option is to register your child online using your Seattle Parks SPARC account. Contact Jeannie Shek with  questions or for more information (206)684-4764 jeannie.shek@seattle.gov.
