Fremont incident, SPU lockdown over-UPDATED 4:38pm

UPDATE- According to SPD Detective Mark Jamieson, the SPU lockdown was in reaction to reports of an attempted robbery?not too far from campus:

The call came in just before 10 at 6th Ave W and W Nickerson.? Report of 3 males threatening victim with a gun, turned out to be a robbery.? Three juvenile suspects were caught and later booked into the Youth Services Center for Investigation of Robbery.? SPU voluntarily imposed their own security measures per their policies.? The ?lockdown? was lifted when the suspects were taken into custody.? Officers are still working on the report.

EARLIER- Seattle Pacific University was on lockdown for a short time this morning. There?was an armed man near the Fremont Bridge.

SPU lockdown is over. @SeattlePD now in the area.
