Have you seen this stolen bike?

A local lady needs your help.? She writes:

My name is Candace and I work at the Seattle Vertical World in Magnolia. I just got back from a year of traveling and working with children in China. I have been back in the States less than three weeks. On my second day back at work at the climbing gym my road bike was stolen. This is my only mode of transportation since my car was stolen and wrecked while I was away in China. (Great luck, eh?)
My bike is a 2010 Specialized Dolce 24 Women’s Road Bike. White with Silver and Red. It has silver fenders and crash marks on the left side of the dirty white handlebars. Her name is Penny. It was taken from the bike rack at the Seattle Vertical World on Commodore Way on August 13th, 2013 between the hours of 1pm and 8:50pm. A lot of folks come in and out of the gym. If anyone saw this bike being taken from the gym or can pass along any details that can help me find my bike, I am prepared to offer a reward.
Please email me if you have any information or if you see this bike somewhere.
Thanks for reading and for your help!
Candace

I spoke with Candace and she?adds, “I know bikes get stolen.? This bike, besides being my only transportation, has a lot of sentimental value.? I just really, really, really want my bike back.”

If you have seen this bike or have any information, you can email us at tips@magnoliavoice.com and we will get you in touch with Candace.

Hey if you live anywhere near the village I would be happy to give you a ride to work I had my bike stolen last year and I can sympathize with you. 🙂

    1. Can people please stop hitting on women in this forum? It’s creepy and uncomfortable to read.

        1. Great, so “James” responds to his own posts as “Darren”? No, its not okay to be the creepy stalker on this forum. Take a hint and leave..

          1. Bravo. Horny men who have to find women online are usually unable to find anyone in real life. Why might that be?

  2. Look on craigslist…also, report it to the police. Did you write down your serial #? If you did not, you might be able to find it anyway by contacting the bike shop you bought it from….they probably have a record of the purchase.
    Good luck!
ps – most stolen bikes turn up on craigslist. My fiancee was going to buy a bike from a seller on there but before he did, he checked the website of stolen bikes operated by SPD and …..yep, the bike was stolen.
