Dead man found in Discovery Park this morning-apparent suicide

A man walking in Discovery Park early this morning?stumbled upon a dead body.? From SPD’s blotter:

Earlier- Homicide detectives are on scene of a suspicious death inside Discovery Park at this hour. At about 7:20 this morning, a man called 911 stating that he came across a body of a man inside the park around 7:00 am. After receiving the call, Seattle Fire and police responded to the park and met with the complainant who took first responders to the body location. Homicide detectives were called out and CSI and the Medical Examiner?s Office is also responding. This remains an active and ong0ing investigation.

Investigators at the scene have now said that they?believe the man took his own life. We will post more information as soon as it becomes available.?Thanks to MV reader Bob for the tip!
