People all over Magnolia (and of course, Seattle proper) are basking in the glow of victory.? Many of us watched the game with our families, cheering on the Hawks, and we will be there tomorrow, with our kids in tow.

Although Seattle Schools?will officially be?in session, many parents will be taking their kids out for the day to be a part of the downtown celebration.? We thought it would be fun to find out how many Magnolians were planning on heading down to the big party.? If you have a moment, please take our survey!

The?whole shebang?starts at 11 a.m.?and will take approximately two hours.? The parade will begin just south of Seattle Center at Denny Way (outside the EMP museum), travel south down 4th Avenue through Westlake Park, and finish at the north entrance to CenturyLink Field.

Seahawks players, coaches, staff, the Sea Gals, Blitz, Blue Thunder Drumline, and the Lombardi Trophy will ride military vehicles and Seattle’s “Ride the Ducks” carriers.

Parking will be tight. Plan ahead, carpool, utilize public transportation and arrive early for the day’s events. Don’t forget to wear warm (Seahawks colored) clothing…the forecast calls for sunshine,?but temps will be in the mid-20s when the parade kicks off. Wednesday’s high calls for 32 degrees.
