He is known for?poppin’ tags, but not this time.?Redfin’s Media Relations and Social Specialist Kafia Hosh confirms that Ryan Lewis of Macklemore purchased a house in our hood for $3.3 million in January. Hosh writes:

The 4-bedroom, 3.75-bathroom home spans 7,610 square feet and sits on just under one acre of land. The home was built in 1995. It is one of the top 10 most expensive Seattle homes sold in January.?Here is a link to the listing for photos and details. The home was previously owned by Ronald Elgin, the former CEO of DDB Seattle Inc.

Redfin confirmed the purchase through property records, the listing agent and social media connections.

    1. I remember almost two years ago when that property was listed at $6 million. One doesn’t want to be a seller in todays market unless you don’t need the money or have had the property a long time…prices still haven’t recovered to anything like what they were before the recesson.
