About the author

Sara

  1. Having lived in the area 50+ years and seeing the degradation of the park with litter and graffiti from thug types, I would prefer to see affluent take control of the area. The last thing Seattle needs to do is be the landlord and placate some NIMBYS.

    1. I have walked the park regularly for thirty years and apart from an odd rash of dog poop bags ( why not just toss it if you went to the trouble to bag it!! ) I haven’t seen a significant growing litter or graffiti problem. I will be voicing my opposition to subdividing the inholdings towards an eventual goal of uniting the historic buildings with the park.
