Help Magnolia Moms fill backpacks for homeless kids
Posted on June 30th, 2014 by Sara
Magnolia Moms is a non-profit organization made up of moms in our community who support various homeless shelters in the Seattle area. Every summer they provide backpacks filled with the necessary school supplies so kids living in these shelters can start the school year off with the tools to succeed. They rely on donations from the public to make this all happen. Magnolia Moms will provide the backpacks, but they are asking our community for help with supplies.
Below is a specific list of items that are needed. You can also consider a cash donation (please make checks payable to Magnolia Moms). All monies received will be used to finish buying the school supplies needed. Please only donate the items on the list. All donations can be left in the Magnolia Moms basket inside Our Lady of Fatima Church (3307 W. Dravus St) or on the porch at 3037 38th Ave W.
