Did you know that our Magnolia Library offers free programs for kids? Check out what’s going on this summer:

July 28th ?1-3pm

Local students are invited to a read-in Ms. Gallegos, the Lawton Elementary School librarian! Lawton students and other young readers are invited to stop by the Magnolia Public Library to chat with Ms. Gallegos and sign up for the summer reading program at the library. Come on by and tell us about your summer!

 

July 29th ?5?7 pm

Hands-On Science Lab for Teens

Dive into science and learn something new! We?ll do a variety of fun experiments to find out how things work and why. For ages 12 and up.

 

July 31st 2-3pm

Mathblast with the Pacific Science Center

Think you don?t use math every day? Think again! Make colorful chemical reactions with Pacific Science Center staff & explore every day uses for numbers, shapes, probability and measurements. For ages 7 and up.

 

August 7th 4-5pm

Enjoy singer-songwriter and illustrator Morgan Taylor?s multimedia performance about Gustafer Yellowgold, a resident from the sun who traveled to Earth and landed in the Minnesota woods. For ages 4-12.

 

August 14th 2-4pm

Crafty Science Lab

Throw on your lab coat and cackle with glee as we get some hands-on science fun and learn something new! We’ll perform a variety of experiments to find out how things work and why. For ages 6-12.
