The sale of the old officers? quarters in Discovery Park has closed. There are plans for the new owners to update the residences and then put them on the market for sale, according to a report in the Puget Sound Business Journal.
Rise Properties Trust paid $9.5 million for the 26 Colonial Revival homes in what was previously Fort Lawton. Remodeling and sales of individual units begin this summer. Prices for finished homes have not been released, according to the article.
Sizes range from a 2-bedroom duplex, to the 6,000 square foot mansion, or ?General?s House.? All construction is under the guidelines of Seattle?s Landmarks Preservation Board, as the homes are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
