A reader alerted Magnolia Voice to police activity outside Bartell Drug in the Village this afternoon as officers suited up for a suspicious package. Bomb Squad vehicles were present with a BMW robot ready to go to work.
Police officers tell Magnolia Voice nothing relating to a bomb was found after officers retrieved a box near the dumpster outside of the store.
Bartell?s employees were asked to leave the store but were not sure of the problem outside.
