Celebrate the 11th annual Green Seattle Day on November 14th by planting trees at Discovery Park! Join the hundreds of volunteers in planting trees and shrubs throughout Seattle that will grow up to be the next generation of our urban forest. Green Seattle Day is a celebration of the forest that makes this the Emerald City. Help us keep it that way! This family-friendly planting day is great for all ages, and no experience is necessary. We’ll bring the plants, tools, gloves, coffee, and snacks. You?ll get a great work-out, spend some time outside in a beautiful park, and feel great knowing that you spent the day doing something good for your community and our urban environment.
