I wasn't sure if there was an owner and where that person was. So I kept walking into the woods just 20 yards south of the Jungle Jim and there was the owner. I don't even know if it was a man or woman because Pitt A and B came running past me towards the owner and then they both turned and ran right at me. I froze and both of them came within a foot of actually trying to grab/bite me. I am a large guy so I think that saved me from being mauled. As I tried to put distance between myself and the owner I had to turn several time to prevent potential ankle/leg bits. If I would have had kids they probably would have gone for the kids. I can't believe two pit-bulls were 1) off leash and 2) ESPECIALLY RIGHT NEXT TO THE CHILDREN's PLAYGROUND. A parent and/or child could pop out of nowhere and even if the owner thought the coast was clear, it NEVER IS.</p> <p>If you are the owner of these dogs all I can say is use some common sense.
