Our white leg horn has flown the coop. Sometime between 3:30 and 5:00 she
decided to go on a sojourn. She responds to "Midnight Sun" (well, actually she
does not, but we would like to think she does). Lost in the vicinity of 33rd
and Ruffner.

A Phinney Ridge woman tells us she found a chicken or rooster at 10 a.m. this morning on the east side of Palatine between North 70th and 72nd Streets. She’s keeping it in her yard until the owner is found.
