Magnolia Little League on parade

March 21st, 2009 by Abner

The Magnolia Little League kicked off the season today in fine style with a big parade down McGraw Street.

The parade included all the baseball and softball teams along with their coaches marching behind banners with their team names.

The parade, which has become an annual tradition, marks the beginning of the season for the teams who were accompanied by the Mariner Moose.

There were lots of parents and fans lining the street to cheer on the players and the Ballard High School marching band was part of the celebration.

A note to coaches and parents in Little League:  Send in your game pictures and scores from Magnolia teams this season and we will publish them on Magnolia Voice!

See all the pictures from the parade here.
