This week?s featured pet from the Seattle Animal Shelter is Bonnie. This cat has a cute black nose and gorgeous tortoiseshell markings. Folks at the shelter tell us that her photos don’t do her justice. Bonnie is friendly, affectionate, confident and gentle.
Bonnie is a sweet natured lap kitty who loves chin scratches and enjoys being groomed. While she’d prefer to be your only pet, she might tolerate another cat.
Bonnie will thrive in a cat experienced home that’s quiet, calm and mature. In fact, she would make the perfect low-maintenance companion for a senior citizen. At 10 years of age, she qualifies for the Seniors for Seniors program: senior citizens or disabled adults with a ‘Gold Card for Healthy Aging’, or a ‘FLASH’ card, issued by the City of Seattle, may adopt her at a special price. The adoption fee will be waived and the licensing fee will be half-price.
Bonnie has been waiting at the shelter since early February and after 3 months she is tired of life in a cage. Come meet her at the shelter and see for yourself what a treasure she is.
If you would like to meet Bonnie, visit the Seattle Animal Shelter, 2061-15th Ave. W.(1 mile south of the Ballard Bridge). The shelter is open Wednesday-Sunday from noon-6:00 pm.
