The sound of five gunshots awakened Magnolia homeowners near 35th Ave W & Thurman Saturday morning, followed by the roar of a speeding pickup truck racing away from the scene. The gun blasts and truck were all caught on video from a home security camera. Click here to see it (turn up the sound).
?Jen? tells Magnolia Voice the shots made her and her husband jump out of bed to see what was happening.
?We don?t expect a drive-by shooting at six in the morning,? she says. ?It was unnerving.?
?We have a security camera inside our front door,? Jen reveals. ?We looked at the video and saw the vehicle. Then we called police.?
Lots of neighbors heard the shots too. Jen says someone found shell casings that were turned over to Seattle Police.
No damage was located.
?We have no idea what they were shooting at,? says Jen.
