Magnolia Girl Scouts Food Drive to Help Ballard Food Bank

It’s time for Troop #41157’s first service project of the year – the annual food drive. Last year the Girl Scouts collected more than 75 banana boxes of food for the Ballard Food Bank.

The food drive not only supports families in our neighborhood, but helps kids build empathy and the desire to help other people.

Girl Scouts will be out in our neighborhood now through November?12th, going door-to-door collecting donations of non-perishable food items. For a complete list of acceptable donations, please visit the website of the Ballard Food Bank.

If a Girl Scout has not visited your house by Wednesday, November 12th, please feel free to leave your donations on the front porch of Troop Leader Jim Petersen’s house – 3603 33rd Ave. W -? by Thursday, November 13th at 3pm. They?will take it to the Ballard Food Bank for you.
Thank you in advance for helping your neighbors!
